Ryan Almond, General Manager
Ryan Almond was born and raised in Rockford, Illinois and graduated from Northern Illinois University in 2009 with a B.A. in Political Science. In 2010, he moved to Ecuador to teach English and lived there for a year and a half. Not long after, he moved back to Rockford to get married, where he worked in a sushi bar and also a life insurance brokerage company. He moved to Napa in 2014 for an opportunity to build a career in the wine industry, and has worked at Bounty Hunter ever since! We are delighted to have him.

Brandon Watts, Chef
Brandon was born and raised in Maryland. He received his BBA in Hospitality and Tourism Management from James Madison University in Virginia. He then earned his certificate in culinary arts from The Culinary Institute of America at Greystone. Since graduation Brandon has worked under many notable chefs at multiple different restaurants and catering companies during his time in Napa Valley. He started at Bounty Hunter in December 2014.

David Tate, Manager
Dave Tate is a true Napa Valley local, born at Queen of The Valley Hospital. He’s lived here all his life, save a two year stint managing a restaurant in Kona, on Hawaii’s Big Island. He worked for many years (8) at Rutherford Grill as a lead server and trainer, then he went on to manage Redd Wood in Yountville for three years. When he’s not working at Bounty Hunter you can find Dave at home with his wife Krista and 12 year old son, Dylan, likely cooking, drinking good wine, and entertaining his friends.

Jared Seitzer, On-Premises Wine Director
Jared Seitzer, Bounty Hunter’s on-premises wine director, is a restaurant and winery “lifer,” beginning as a cook in his hometown of Northumberland, Pennsylvania, at the tender age of 16.

In between semesters at The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, Jared worked a vintage in New York’s Millbrook Vineyards, opening his eyes to a new world. After graduating with a B.S. in Hospitality Management, Jared’s passion for wine brought him to Napa, where he stained his hands red over five vintages as a cellar rat. Then he moved to San Diego to work as the sommelier at the grand old Hotel Del Coronado, and shortly after, he opened the Ivy Hotel in San Diego as Wine Director.

In 2009 Jared and his wife Dezerai moved to Marlborough, New Zealand for a vintage and then on to Australia as a sommelier in Melbourne. Since returning to Napa, Jared worked as a Wine Scout for four years, before transitioning earlier this year to the Wine Director for our downtown restaurant operations. We are lucky to have him!
